FC Porto winger Francisco Conceicao is a target for RB Leipzig if Daniel Olmo leaves this summer.
RB Leipzig are prepared to lose Daniel Olmo this summer and are interested in signing FC Porto and Portugal international Francisco Conceicao as Spain’s replacement for Euro 2024 winners, UFABET reported on Monday.
Although Olmo’s €60m release clause has expired, RB Leipzig are willing to let the player leave for a similar fee, with the 26-year-old reportedly having an offer from Barcelona, including a six-year contract, before the Blaugrana enter negotiations with the Red Bulls over a fee to complete the deal.
RB Leipzig are reportedly also looking for Olmo’s replacement, UFABET with Porto’s Conceicao interested in signing him. Although the 21-year-old is a more traditional winger, he can operate in the same part of the pitch and bring creativity to the game as well.
Conceicao is currently under contract with FC Porto until the summer of 2029 and has an estimated market value of €20-25 million.
On the other hand, the young Portuguese player might leave Porto more easily after the soap opera involving the change of coaches, with the arrival of Vítor Bruno as the new head coach (and former assistant of Sérgio Conceição).
The press even spoke of Bruno’s “betrayals.” Under these accusations, the new coach had to publicly defend himself, stating that he “never stabbed Conceição in the back.”
According to Spanish reports, it is expect that the son of the former footballer and ex-Porto coach Sérgio Conceição will resolve his future upon returning from vacation while his team is on tour in Austria.
